Computershare Enhanced Security
Computershare Shareowner Services will enhance the security of its EquityAccess Portal web site to provide stockholder and employee plan participants with more effective and secure account-management tools.
Computershare Shareowner Services will enhance the security of its EquityAccess Portal web site to provide stockholder and employee plan participants with more effective and secure account-management tools. These security measures are designed to:
- Ensure that the web user is the authorized user/account holder
- Provide the user with a greater sense of security
- Assist in preventing phishing (email scams)
Greater Account Security
As part of these enhanced security measures, after Nov. 7, 2010, users will be required to create a personal ID and web password to access the EquityAccess Portal. Employees' personal ID and web password are different than their Access ID and (personal identification number) PIN number and will be selected and established by the employee. In addition, users will be asked to choose a personal security image and caption, as well as set up security questions.
These additional security measures will enhance web site login credentials and help protect account information for all EquityAccess Portal users as well as provide greater authentication in the event that users forget their personal ID or web password.
Computershare has also implemented a risk-based authentication and fraud-detection platform, which measures over 100 risk indicators to identify high-risk and suspicious activities. In addition, Computershare is a part of the eFraudNetwork, which monitors and tracks fraudster profiles, patterns and behavior across 150 countries.
Please note: These web site enhancements will not impact Computershare's phone system referred to as the Interactive Voice Recognition System (IVR). SAIC stockholders will continue to use their previously established Access ID and PIN number to access this system.

More Information
Computershare will have several links on the EquityAccess Portal with more information on how to log in to the web site. Participants may also call the dedicated Computershare Shareowner Services call center for SAIC employees and stockholders at 866-400-SAIC (7242). Users that need an Access ID and would like to speak to a customer service representative (CSR) should ignore the prompts that ask for the Access ID. The system will connect them to a CSR.
In addition, SAIC has developed a troubleshooting guide to assist participants with any issues they face in trying to access the Computershare EquityAccess Portal.
