Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Training
SAIC is an official member of the Software Engineering Institute's Partner Network (an SEI Partner). Our consultants are schooled in industry best practices and have demonstrated successes in bringing organizations to desired maturity levels in the Capability Maturity Model Integrated® (CMMI) levels. In addition to software development, SAIC provides training and coaching in the SEI's Team Software Process℠ (TSP) and Personal Software Process℠ (PSP).
Using TSP/PSP methodologies, SAIC executed a high-risk, high-visibility software development project for a national security customer. The development team attained better schedule performance than any other in the organization's previous five years. SAIC helped the customer create a software solution by applying TSP/PSP principles that paid off with a 20 percent productivity increase, without cutting corners or sacrificing quality.
