Nazzic S. Keeneis chief operating officer (COO) of SAIC with responsibility for overseeing daily operations of the corporation, including its long-term strategy for sustained profitable growth.
Previously Keene was president of the company’s Global Markets & Missions sector. In this capacity she was responsible for the company’s customer relationship management, expansion of the company’s strategic business pipeline, driving growth, and executive oversight of program execution.
Keene joined SAIC in 2012 as the senior vice president for Corporate Strategy and Planning and was instrumental in the spin-off of SAIC in 2013.
Keene has three decades of diversified experience in the information systems and technology services industries, with more than 20 years in executive management. Prior to joining SAIC, Keene was the senior vice president and general manager for U.S. Enterprise Markets at CGI, and led that company’s U.S. expansion. This included all aspects from strategy development and execution to operational excellence and leadership development.
Keene began her career in the communications and IT industry after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona. She is the recipient of the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards for the U.S. Army and contract companies in support of intelligence missions.
Keene serves on the board of Capital Partners for Education and has previously served on the boards of Year-Up National Capital Region and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). She was also an executive committee member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, National Capital Region.
