SAIC assists the aviation industry and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the development and modernization of civil aviation and the national airspace.


We provide systems integration, acquisition planning, and system implementation for air navigation, air traffic control, landing systems, and airport operations. Within the FAA, SAIC assists the FAA's Air Traffic Organization, Airports, and Flight Standards Service and Aircraft Certification Service within the AVS domain. Our ability and demonstrated broad-based experience covers a wide variety of Air Traffic systems including ADS-B, Terminal Facilities, ASR, ASDE-X; and, solution sets within the Next Generation Air Transportation System, NextGen.

For over three decades, SAIC has supplied advanced technology, system engineering services, and operational expertise across a wide spectrum of applications. Our customers include the FAA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), airports, airlines and commercial aviation industry leaders.
