NASA SEWP V is a multi-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with a ceiling value of $20 billion per contract. Providing the latest in commercial Information Technology (IT) products, solutions, and services, the NASA SEWP contract vehicle has an outstanding track record of offering the latest technology solutions for the Federal Government. With the award of SEWP V, the scope has been expanded to include as-a-service offerings along with unlimited product engineering services.

SEWP is a multi-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with a ceiling value of $20 billion per contract. It is administered by NASA but is available for use by all Federal Government agencies and their authorized subcontractors. The statutory authority allowing usage of the SEWP contracts by the entire Federal Government is NASA’s designation as an Executive Agent by OMB based on the Information Technology Management Reform Act (ITMRA) of 1996, now the Clinger Cohen Act.​

Providing the latest in commercial Information Technology (IT) products, solutions, and services, the NASA SEWP contract vehicle has an outstanding track record of offering the latest technology solutions for the Federal Government. With the award of SEWP V, the scope has been expanded to include as-a-service offerings along with unlimited product engineering services.

SEWP was competitively awarded to 147 Prime Contract Holders, including 120 small businesses. These contracts offer a vast selection and wide range of commercial advanced technology including servers, security solutions, cloud based solutions, software, storage systems, network equipment, telecommunication, Health IT, video conferencing systems, and other IT and Audio-Visual products along with product based engineering services.

SEWP offers low prices (generally below GSA Schedule prices), the lowest surcharge (0.34%) and the easiest and fastest ordering procedure using pre-competed contracts.
